Hi guys..... BJ is back in baseball season full force. I got to catch up with him tonight about baseball and today's visit to UAB.

Let's talk baseball first. The team had a game in Troy last Wednesday and then it was off to Texas for a weekend series. Today he was back in Tuscaloosa getting ready for a trip to Montgomery for a big game against Auburn tomorrow. Talking with BJ this evening I could tell how excited he was to be back with the team and doing what he loves to do. It was really great to hear him so excited!

As for UAB, BJ had another good visit. Last post I mentioned that his liver enzymes were a little elevated. The good news is that the two enzymes that were high last time came down to normal levels this visit. There are two more enzymes that the doctors measure. One of these was a little high this time. They told him not to be alarmed. They just want to monitor it and check it again in two weeks. So, he will continue to take the Cyclosporine another couple of weeks and hope for good news in two weeks.

Until then, BJ has plenty of work to keep him busy. Hopefully the baseball team will have a good couple of weeks and BJ can top it off with another good visit to the unit. Also, I wanted to let eveyone know that March 15th will mark 10 months post transplant for BJ. I will post something that day, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up that there is a BIG DAY coming up soon! Talk to you then!
