BJ had another really solid day today. His white blood cell count went up again. His platelets dipped a little bit, but the doctors were not concerned by that. He got more fluids today because his Creatinin was still a little high. The nurses and doctors say as long as he continues to drink a lot of liquids at home this should not be a problem.
The doctors continue to feel really confident with his progress, so they are giving him another day off tomorrow!! He will be able to relax all day at his parents home and hopefully sleep in!!
His parents have moved a treadmill up to the main level so BJ can continue to get his walks in each day. The hot weather outside hasn't bothered BJ at all, but it is better for him to walk inside while his immune system is still vulnerable. Every time I have gone to see him he has been out on the sun-porch taking in the heat. It is very comfortable to him, which is all that matters, but it is like a sauna to me. It really does give you an appreciation for what he is going through and how different his body is from everyone else's.
He hasn't slept very well the last couple of nights. A lot of this is due to the medications they are giving him and I'm sure some of that has to be a result of the stress and nervousness he is going through right now.
I will update you all if I get any new information tomorrow. Until then, keep praying for positive news.

My name is Stephanie Weathers. My husband, Jason, age 33, was diagnosed with AML in January of 2008. We are awaiting a transplanat UAB once a donor is secured. What encouragement to us to see how well B.J. is doing! Please know we will pray fervently for B.J.'s complete healing.
